By some miracle the sun has finally made an appearance (at least at the time of writing). How long it will stick around for is unknown but I consider myself a positive person and therefore anticipate the need to share my favourites SPF's for healthy, glowing and fully protected Skin.
I always use a different SPF on my face to the rest of my body. Today I'm sharing the sunscreens I use just for my face, neck and chest. I've included links to each product for you, just click on the photo.
BEST OVERALL BUDGET BUY: Bondi Sands - Face SPF 50+
Currently only £6 on Amazon. Usually £7.99
This is amazing for many reasons. The price for starters. The formula is lovely and glowy but also sinks in very quickly. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It plays well with other skincare and makeup products. It's also water resistant, although I would always reapply after swimming. It's an absolute winner in my book. If you don't want a glowy, dewy finish though this one is not for you.
MY HOLY GRAIL: Biore Aqua Rich SPF50+

I've used this for years and I love it. I repurchase time and time again. It sinks into my skin without a trace, provides fantastic lightweight coverage. It's hydrating. It's not sticky or tacky. It's on the more matt side. I can apply it over the top of makeup and it won't smear everything around. It feels more like applying a beautifully formulated skincare serum than SPF!
BEST FOR ACTIVITIES: Neutrogena Sport Face SPF70+

This is the one I wear when I'm playing tennis or going sightseeing or doing any kind of activity outside for long periods. It's oil free which helps it absorb into the skin faster, impressive for a factor 70! It's also good for sensitive skins. The only negative I have found is if it gets too close to my eyes it can cause some stinginess!
Amazing for super high protection that won't clog pores and won't be sweated or washed off easily!
BEST FOR TOP UPS: Garnier Super UV Over Makeup Mist
Currently only £6.96 on Amazon
This is perfect to spray over makeup and keep your protection topped up. I don't use it as a main SPF but if I'm out and about in the day this is in my bag. The fine mist sinks into skin easily without a trace and won't disturb your makeup. And all at a great price point.
WORTH THE £££: Clinique Super-defence City Block SPF50

This is a superb combo of skincare and SPF. It's ever so slightly tinted so leaves your complexion looking more even and glowing while still providing excellent protection.
Excellent everyday sunscreen that will work alone or sit well under makeup. Only downside is it is on the pricier side than some of my other recommendations.
SPF should be the last step in your AM skin care routine before you apply your makeup, I recommend wearing SPF all year round no matter what the weather!
